If you’re looking for a puppy trainer in Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, De Soto, or anywhere in Johnson County, Kansas, I’d love to help.

Raising a puppy can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! I use positive reinforcement methods to help you and your puppy build a strong foundation: mixed with puppy appropriate exercises, behavior modification, impulse control, and focusing on the importance of engagement.

As a mom, I also understand how important it is to make sure training is safe and fun for the kids in the family. My approach welcomes The Whole Family to work together to navigate this time in their lives. I always welcome and encourage the kids to work with me in training sessions too!

Bringing a blanket home isn’t enough to prepare your dog for the changes that come with a new baby. As a certified Family Paws Parent Educator, I help families create calm, confident transitions before the baby arrives.

    • Together, we’ll plan for:
Schedule changes – introducing new routines gradually so your dog feels secure when your time and energy shift.

    • Safe zones and management – designing peaceful spaces for both dog and baby to rest, play, and recharge safely.

    • The first meeting – setting up the environment and preparing for the initial meeting to ensure a smooth, positive introduction between your baby and your dog.

This service is all about helping you prepare early, reduce stress, and build harmony on both ends of the leash, so your dog feels included, not replaced, as your family grows.

    Each meeting is 1 hour,

    2 meetings before baby
    1 meeting after baby

    3 meetings = $333

*For success at least 3 meetings are necessary. it is possible to add more meetings for better preparation.

  • Focus: Life after baby becomes mobile — when your child starts sitting up, crawling, walking, exploring, and interacting with the dog.

    • Reading and teaching canine body language to parents and caregivers

    • Creating safe, supervised interactions
